Welcome to Ascension Parish Community Awareness Emergency Response (CAER) web site.
Here you will find valuable information and procedures pertaining to natural and
industrial emergencies. CAER's membership consists of chemical and industrial
companies with plant facilities located in Ascension Parish. The CAER membership works closely with Parish Government and the Sheriff's
Department to define and prepare procedures that would be utilized in the event of a
chemical or industrial emergency.
